Equipment Hire

The on-site Proshop can arrange hire of all mountain associated sports equipment and give you unrivalled advice and local expertise to maximise your experience in the Chamonix Valley.

Rental:

The in-house Pro Shop has an extensive range of gear to suit all your rental needs, with skis from Volkl, Black Diamond and Nordica, and Snowboards from Salomon and DC. Kids and adults kit available. We also can provide avalanche gear, including tranceivers, shovels and probes, for those of you wanting to go off the beaten track. Any questions, email the proshop at proshop@verthotel.com

Waxing:

If you need your boards/skis repaired or tuned the Proshop is equipped for everything from a simple wax to a full 'Hollywood' P-Tex and Base Grind. Leave your equipment when you get back from your days skiing, and pick it up, waxed and ready to go, from 8am the next day.

Test Centre:

For the third year, we are proud to be offering a free test centre by Hendryx Skis (www.hendryxskis.com) at Le Vert. This Swedish company is at the forefront of ski-technology, bringing such innovations as the very first Rockered carving ski to the market and developing the Duckstanced ski position. If you want to see what it feels like to ski hand-made, top of the range skis, that appear to have been specifically designed for the steeps of Chamonix, they will be available to test, for free for one day, all winter.

Just when the snow arrived, so did Sylvain Furlan. ( www.furlansnowboard.com ) Making snowboards since 1997, Furlan specialize in powder boards. 1m79, tip to tale, these boards ride like a 158, but float like a butterfly. Coming in normal and wide, and soft and hard flex, when the snow is right, these boards will take you on a whole different path. Come to test, for FREE, for 1 day, from the shop.

We have excellent knowledge of the local scene gained from many years experience riding, climbing, walking, snowboarding and skiing in the Chamonix valley. We have access to the very best instructors and guides. Vert Pro-Shop can organise all the lessons and trips you need to assure that your time here will be well spent.
